The following information details Lear Co-Packaging’s capabilities.

 

Our two facilities are located just South of highway 401 off Erin Mills Parkway and is in close proximity to Highway 403.  Our 35,000 square foot warehouse is bright with halogen lighting with tempered glass cage and food grade epoxy flooring. We have six dock level doors all with levelers and door seals.  We accommodate full trailer loads as well as providing our customers with the option of dropping trailers.  We also have an air-conditioned clean room for working and storing temperature sensitive products as well as drug products.

 

We specialize in shrink wrapping and P.O.P. displays and have eight lines of customized, shrink-wrapping equipment including 3 fully automatic lines which can accommodate packages up to 30” x 20” x 15”. Aside from the above, our expertise includes bagging (two lines), skin packaging, shrink-sleeving, hand packaging, labeling, tagging and repackaging.

 

We are a progressive company that started in 1994 and has undergone three expansions in our first ten years of operation and can readily adapt to any specific request for our customers.

 

Our customer list consists of many Fortune 500 companies, including KIMBERLY CLARK INC., GEORGIA PACIFIC, DARE FOODS, ROBIN HOOD MULTIFOODS, WYNNS, INGERSOL RAND, LUCAS OIL, CIBA Vision, 3M, BIOTECH, ACCO, MAXELL, ETC., as well as several marketing companies and art houses.

 

Prior to commencement of work for Ciba Vision, 3M, Hershey's, Adam's Brands, Best Foods, Campbells, Dare, Pepsi, Duracell, Kimberly Clark, Robin Hood, etc, we were inspected and approved by their quality control departments. Lear also has an Establishment Licence and maintains a GMP environment. This qualifies us to handle DIN (drug) numbered products.

 

With our in-house label capabilities, we can offer immediate label service including U.P.C. codes, and SCC codes, and company logos.  Our labels are done to ANSI standards and we can provide printed reports verifying their scan ability.
